I'm just throwing this out there, take what you want from it, I still respect all of you guys:

To completely block off months of work from the entire community is so freaking counter-productive it's not even funny. Seriously. It's like discovering the cure for cancer, but only distributing it to 15 different people, and then saying screw you to the rest of the people, who may also want said cure. (In this case, the cancer is the template, people is the skin.)


I'd ask you to think about this a little bit more. Nobody is going to ever make any skins for this bike, purely because we all know that we'd need to put in at least GIO quality work for it to even be looked at. It's so stupid. I had plans on making a few skins for this bike, and after I found out that I'd need to shade and template it myself, I don't want to. It's complete bullshit. The least you all can do is do what DJ did with the Fox V3, but don't leak it out. Seriously.


This is how it needs to work:
1. I send you the skin.
2. You decide if it is worthy. (If yes, go to 4 If no, go to 3.)
3. I work on it until it is worthy.
4. You template the skin, and send it back to me in a .png.

No psd's, no leaking of the template. That way, all us designers out there who aren't perfect shading/organic drawers can design shit. Hell, Gordy got your template, why screw the rest of us over? All I'm saying, to put it bluntly, is that your logic is fucking retarded.

Yeah no other skins will ever be as good as the ones that come with the model. They're mostly the best skinners(mostly)

i think there is an issue beyond their control,, that is: they use eskwaads front end skin and shading on the bike, which i believe he was vehemently against getting shared around, why this is i do not know, never really spoken to the guy, but there is a reason of some sort.
