REACHING OUT TO ALL CONTENT CREATORS

I have some proglems getting my model ingame, it's not that they don't show up. But everytime i export them into the game they are always off center. I have lined it up with steven (boblob)'s pivot points and made sure that rotation and scaling (even location) is on point when i export but they always line up different ingame.

This is what happened last time, i was supposed to release this as an april fools but since ican't get it working i thought i'd wait for that

Boblob801 wrote:Just release it. Although Andy complains about poor quantity models etc, you should have seen some of the trash he released 10 years ago   , Jay and myself included. Not everyone will give you feedback but some feedback from releasing it (even as beta) is better then none.
Just look at my very first projects when i first got Wings3D (I don't count Milkshape 3D in, I mean it wasn't really for Modelling, was it? )
I barely used Photobucket for a few years, but you can clearly see that everyone, including me, started at some point.

I also can't agree more with Mason(m121c), it's very time consuming and you really have to want it to be able to be good at it, but just like I said, we all had to go through that.

@broland: That looks great! Just try to bake it down on a game ready low polygon mesh and show us the result, this looks very promising!

To everyone else who's reading this, make sure to study models by Jonathan, I've learned so much from him, he's definitely a unique character, but he spent a lot time to teach me things and showed me his models. I studied his unbelievable poly-flow and tried to adapt it to other projects. His models were usually almost too low poly to make Normal maps work properly, but his polyflow and ability to get down the shape exactly how it's supposed to be is outstanding.

The original 2010 Honda by Wilson is also a great Model to learn from:

Not to bring up any settled arguments but:

I believe all the kids like this are the reason our community has had a very obvious downfall(content wise). I blocked the name to not throw anyone under the bus but, this stuff is ridiculous. Just had to throw my opinion out there when I read through this.

damn lol i bet he bought everything. I get questions like that as well, people always trying to trade someones stuff for others. and I hate to say it but there is already people giving out Andy's new KTM. I myself have made graphics for it using the cutout for other people but wont use it unless I buy it. But there has been two occasions the psd and all has been sent to me. one being randomly

@BroLand - No worries my previous message in here wasn't aimed at you. I was speaking generally. What program you using? I'm guessing you are using a PBR style shader.

My attempt at physically based renderings way back in the day:

I actually just checked my latest (deleted 5+ times) CRF upload and there was 36 downloads... I can promise you it should have been less than 10. It's not even a surprise anymore.

That looks pretty good in my opinion haha and I have been using substance. It works really well. Honestly I have really enjoyed texturing, even more then learning modeling. It seems to entertain me more lol

Here is some i tried on Mateus's Yoshi - Image
