Wilson said that his crf250 (the newest 2010/2011 one) was ~4000 polygons. If I were to make another bike model, I would try to keep it below 5500 polygons.
1 Polygon can equal 2 tris, so you could estimate that 5500 polys = 11000 tris (4000 polys = 8000 tris).
How are you guys doing on poly count as of now?
