I dig 'em! The only thing I would change is make the halftone's way smaller, then it would look super clean! Other than that, nice work!

This is the correct way to export a spec right? I've never been 100% on how to do it and I want to make sure im doing it right.

If that's the opacity you want everything at, then yes. You typically want an alpha background for spec maps. Doesn't mean you have to have an alpha background. If you think something looks good with a solid color, then it's not wrong to use it.

Take your time. A lot of your design is a bunch a squares. IMO sharp points look better.
