Does anyone know hot to get this silver in game?
It's possible but the mirror is applied in blender as a material on the polygons so it's very restricted what we can do with it. All it can do really is mirror a whole model just the helmet shell for example. Doing designs is technically possible but requires modeling and will increase the poly count A LOT (more lag) And 3d modeling skill is required to achieve that.
You can fake it on the diffuse map with gradients or just make it grey and make the spec holographic.
So isn't possible to put the mirror material in Blender and then save it. Open it on Phothoshop and start doiing the design. Isn't that possible? I have no clue about Blender maybe I am saying stupid things lol
So this pipe (how ever is called) has been done by the way you said?
the problem is you can apply reflective material to individual polygons, if you want chrome-like (really reflective material) the skin(color/design) will not really be visible on that kind of material. you would need to cut the design in the model, so you can add reflective material only to the polygons that are forming the design...as Benjii said before
This is my first go at gear and a great opportunity for me to learn Illustrator a little more! any help/critiques/improvements are most certainly welcome!
Circuit Equipment C84 gear colorways low res wip (origin: Brazil). Adding a few more colorways for the hell of it.
Thanks to Tooh't the magician for some behind the scene stuff and gloves.
Some graphics I've initially made for Ben McLeod to run at the Australian Nationals.. Just was not sure about some small details so there is still my number on the plates and some logos are still missing I might post the finished stuff tomorrow
Not really to be honest! I'm just a fan and thought that the FIM and AMA logos wouldn't look good on a set of "clean" graphics due to not being just flat black and white. That's just something I look out for So for the WuTang-Clan logo those criterias were fullfilled so I decided to just keep it for now
Please ignore the hideous gear, here is the bike I've been working on for the Versus-PC Factory Racing Team not totally finished, but i thought id share my first graphics attempt. The bar pad logo is downside up...i know
