Snowmobiles and yes. the epa is stupid really. they should be more worried about the old vehicles on the road. they produce so much morr polution as opposed to 2 strokes. Look at the uk. you get money to have your old car crushed, but that money is only viable for the purchase of a new vehicle. In the is, they are super strict on new vehicles, especially diesel. however, diesels produce less emissions than that of a gasolinr engine, and consume much less fuel.
i work at a ktm dealership... and we have caught wind of a direct injection 2 stroke for next year. its kinda hush hush. but we even have the engine blownup and its kinda neat the way they plan to do it. it will fit in this years chassis so dont excpect a huge change in susspension or plastics.

They are the best manufacturer out there. Yamaha better follow, along with all other jap manufacturers.

I rode a husky CR125 (2010) bored out to a 144 for 4 months until the clutch exploded. That thing handled so amazing. So light and nimble, and it had the top end of a 250f. I would never have parted with it if I hadn't seen this YZ (07) that was brand new. I've been looking for a mint YZ for 3 years, and I finally got one.
