How is it horrible? We all dont have money to buy a shoei or arai....Kawasakis wrote:Same.

Also they weren't saying its a bad helmet, they said they didnt like the look.Pumaxcs wrote:Well its obvious why you defend it, but it is just preference. I think that quoting Kawa then saying not everyone can afford it was a bad defenese though. No offense.
Anyways I don't like it either, to boxy looking and the bottom is flat and kinda shows some chin. With that said I think that in the sense of a model it looks nearly perfect but it just isn't for me, though that doesn't mean I wouldnt use it in game.

Well said, took the words out of my mouth.Pumaxcs wrote:Well its obvious why you defend it, but it is just preference. I think that quoting Kawa then saying not everyone can afford it was a bad defenese though. No offense.

why did we need a lecture about helmet performance? we were clearly talking about how it looks. Fair enough you buy a helmet to keep your head safe but im pretty sure no helmet would be on the market if it wasn't capable of saving you in the event of an accident, thats why when people buy a helmet they go on what they like the look of because the current helemts of today are put through so many tests they are all similar in the level of protection they offer.MiNi wrote:The helmet isn't really a horrible helmet because of appearance. Appearance is probably what people get mixed around with. A helmet is based on the performance. Or in other words, how well it will prevent any injury regarding your head. A helmet is designed using certain materials and a designated shape in order to create the safest impact as possible. The Shoei, Arai and the Bell are known for being high class helmets. They are the top 3 safest helmets that you can buy (as far as I know).
Of course there are helmets that I don't like. For example, I can't stand the AGV. I think it is one of the ugliest helmets that I have ever seen. The mouth guard points straight down and is way to big. The rest of the helmet is too round, all around and it doesn't have that aggressive look. I think it makes any kind of rider look like a goon. These words don't make it a bad helmet, the appearance doesn't impress a certain individual.

Wow mini nice lecture, not really. Half of yalls complaints about this helmet is actually comical, u ppl do realize this is for mxs and not real life, so who the hell cares what body part it protects, or how affordable it is in real life etc.MiNi wrote:The helmet isn't really a horrible helmet because of appearance. im confused, you talked about how appearance isnt what should be worried about, but then talked about how you dont like the agv cuz of appearanceMiNi wrote:The helmet isn't really a horrible helmet because of appearance.
