Finally got it to work in the game. The fork, handlebars, swingarm etc. are still from the kawa. Haven't started working with them yet.
Yeah and none of the parts are fully finished. Planned to remake the fuel tank completely again.

yea looks pretty cool already, i would make sure that the whole plastics (shrouds, gastank, seat, rear fender, and numplates) are one single object. makes it easier to skin

Just a model.
I tried to bake some simple normal practices in blender but didn't get it to work. What ever I'll try to bake the result is one flat violet color. Shading is set to GLSL and normal space: tangent. I followed exactly those tutorials in youtube.

And yep, have to combine those plastic parts together. Not a big deal though. Just realized that yesterday when I started to learn unwrapping.
This will be a real challenge for me but my motivation is huge.

Nice bike Jre! BTW and how do you get your model to show in game with the grey colour? Mine always goes invisible.
Anyway here is a 2012 CRF250R that i am working on.

Well you have to apply a diffuse color. Like the skin you put on your bike. Open Photoshop, make everything grey and save it as a .png liek you would do for other models.

Some parts like frame look seems very high poly. How many tris do you have?

Well Don't really know how much, but the frame is definitely too high poly. That's propably because my skills and knowledge are growing up all the time and the frame was one of the first parts I made.
Have to change my way to more low poly since I just learned how the normal maps works. Trying to bake and start to use them now.

Been working on this quite long now. Andy helped me unwrapping some parts. I just remade the Yoshimura's for Barrington.
I hope I can release this bike in the sx season.

Fransso is gonna help me skinning the bike. So I'll need to ask him, but imo it just needs to be released!
