it would be awesome to also remodel this thing, because it's kinda highpoly and still not that good looking(it was my first mxs model), but I'm kinda lazy to do that, will be better to make new braces instead

Looks pretty damn sweet p2sta.
On another note, my gear is probably ready to release. Need a few good colorways tho.
(render kinda messed spec maps)

This will probably not be the RivalRacing honda because we have another bike in progress. Would be fun to let me know what you think anyways.
I guess i will remove the Rival logo and just make it into another bike. And Yes, i am 100% sure i have the LD logos all over the bike. They are removed so no worries.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
Don't use all of KTM57's CRF stuff. He's got some real quality parts on it (like the bars), but the clutch cover is tragically under shaded (I'll give you $300 if you can find a real life clutch cover that dark, actually thats not true but you see my point), and the high-contrast spec map on the frame with the low contrast diffuse looks like plastic. The graphics look really cool though, I love the sharp corners on it. Though i'd consider re-doing at least the top of the shroud because its a little blank. Also I think black-white gradients should be Illegal for graphics, it looks like bad shading instead of design. White-red gradients don't seem to look great, so try a red-black (or yellow-red if you wanted to add a second colour). Hope I sound helpful and not too douchey lol. Good luck with it!

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
If he had shaders on, it would probably help a bit.
About the frame, I don't think it looks any more like plastic than any other CRF. Maybe a little bit, but I don't know. You can't even say anything about the spec in that shot because he doesn't have shaders on.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
I'm also working on this gear right now. 2012 Fox 360. I'm aware that it's been made already, but I really like the gear and I'd like to use this project to get a good hold on norm and spec maps. I really want to do a new jersey pattern because this one doesn't look as good as I had hoped. I also need to clean up some stitching and do some more stuff, then it's on to the pants. I'm also really proud of the way I got the gradient to match up on the side so well.
Thanks to p2sta for working with me on the model! He actually put reflections on the exact area of the gear that I needed to get a little more shine out of and it works beautifully.

Jk, looking really good and the gradient etc matches perfectly together.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
I in fact (as you probably know) have fooled around with numerous different combinations between spec and diffuse contrast on the frame. In my experience, high-contrast spec low-contrast diffuse make it look like theres plastic wrap over it, it also looks like its only polished on one side at a time (because the spec isn't active everywhere on the bike all the time)KTM57 wrote:If he had shaders on, it would probably help a bit.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
Yeah, that helps, but I guess I'm going more custom. Is that a vented version? I could swear that it's shiny on the bottom half. I was going from the Fox website 360 view. Oh well, at least it looks cool.
I don't get what you're saying about the clutch and frame, though. If something isn't lit from the side that you're looking at it from, it's not going to be lit up and have shading. You can't argue with how it looks, either. I don't see how that frame looks like plastic.
