Yeah, I agree. Sharp edges give it that crisp look, which is great for shading. Also try brushing around with burn and the other one around the edges to kind of fade it, or make it sharper.hvpunk62 wrote:not bad chuey but could use some sharp edges

I'm really not understanding what you guys mean by sharp edges and burn i have PS CS3 i used the brush set the modes and tried all the different burns and it really didn't turn out too well. and im just learning the basics of PS and this is as far as I've gotten. thanks for your inputs also..

I use GIMP, and the only way I know how to shade is with a lighter color brush on top of the main color. Is there a better way that I don't know about or do I just have to perfect this?

im sure its diff in gimp seeing how gimp is similar to photoshop idk ask around im sure theres a diff way to do it in gimp

i like it kevin its pretty tight EXCEPT the pipe green is one of my favorite colors but the green pipe.. ehh not so great in my OPINION but other that its pretty cool
