Just did this split stuff yesterday after ask Jlv about smooth groups, they gave the same effect and its realy better then a all smooth bike
You can see the front guard detailed
and plastics are less dark

Just got the goggle frame to unwrap, then I'll (attempt) to skin. I'll do the goggle frame tomorrow, I have no idea how I'll do it
That has to do with how Wings3d does it's modeling.
It's subdivision, so it makes everything soft, which makes it look really fucking ugly. Basically the way to prevent that in wings is hard/soft edges. I'll give an example in a second.

Screw the example, to lazy, and I don't want to undo my edgework alreay done for my 661.
