I use graphics companies for templates and redraw them (which is what Paul is claiming to have done). Am I breaking the rules too? (Not being a jackass, I've wondered this for a while now but there's never been a real definitive answer that I have found)

Thing is he didn't copy shit. He said he did but no its not possible to get a perfect recreation of my shading. The only thing I see is he adjusted some of the opacity settings. The png matches straightup up with my template.

And, again, not pointing fingers, but how did you get his most recent template? Did Paul send it to you for verification?

I opened up the saf for verification, just to make sure. Not like 75% of this community doesn't know how anyway.

I 100% do not support ripping, but you shouldnt make something and at the last second say, "hey you can't use that stuff i made for your model now." It's just kind of bs in all honesty and makes you (whoever does it) look like a dick. Know what I mean?

So lets get this straight. Not repsecting my desicion to not use my work, claim to redo the work but actually do nothing to change it, release it with no credit to the actually creator, and then lie about not ripping isn't being a dick?

Let's get a few things straight, when I said the part about looking like a dick, put yourself in the communities shoes. They don't know (or care) about your problem with Paul. All they see is you whining because you say he used the stuff you made for HIS bike...after you threw a temper tantrum and took it back. This is a "he said, she said" fight.

Second, I don't know how to open a saf. In fact if you're so afraid of others ripping why are you being a hypocrit and opening safs? That's hw ripping starts. My point here is, Idk how to open a saf because I don't need to know. I create my own stuff or I use something released.

Last, it's intelligent. Not intelligant. If you want to try and mock my knowledge, atleast know how to spell. You are making yourself look like a moron by arguing with someone who's not even taken a side. But hey, maybe you can make another "intelligant" post in rebuttal?

P.S. why does every model have to come with so much drama?

I've been in their shoes before, but it wasn't just a template or some shading, it was essentially an entire game (minus the coding) that was ripped from me. Believe me, I know the feeling. It's not worth it.

My exact point. When some one does something for free then gets shit on there not gonna be happy.
It seems like a lot of people are making Mason out to be the bad guy.

It seems to me that these models are tearing this communtiy apart. Idk why people cant just do things differently. Obviously its not working the way people are doing it. Hi, I'm _________, I don't contribute shit to this community but I'm going to jump in and bag on someone who did just to stir the pot and feel cool. There are a couple of idiots who also posted "ripper" on the first couple of pages and some others throughout who haven't done anything for this game and are just looking to stir the pot. I guess that is what happens when you don't spend time contributing, you have time to just fuel drama.

**disclaimer - I've spoken to paul a bit since this project was going, and I've gotten to know him and like and respect him. Though, I try my best to look at this as un-biased as can be. As far as Mason, I don't know him, but he's helped indirectly with some projects I've worked on at some point I believe, and he is talented and we have no issues either.

As far as how much Paul did on the model, only Paul knows. I definitely know quite a few hours were spent on TS while he was working away on the model. Maybe he spent 40 hours on the front fender, I don't know and neither do you, but he was definitely working on it. Also, with or without help, he was a crucial part of orchestrating the project, there is effort involved there too.

I think Mason has a right to be upset too. Not that I agree with his, "I will help you and then tell you no I want my work back." But it should have been respected and this is between those two to figure out. Everyone jumping in here just to feel cool and talk out their ass about something they don't know is just stupid. This thread is going nowhere but to a bad place of having another creator turned off on creating for the community.

Once again, why all the constant drama? Why can't people just simply help eachother out, learn from eachother, and help make everyone better? It seems some of the creators in this community want to make everything a competition and it's all about e-pats on the back instead of having fun creating and learning and helping others. Funny thing is, the guys who I feel are the best creators in the community, they've helped myself and tons of you time and time again without asking for credit because they don't have anything to prove.

I hope Paul ignores the BS, works things out with Mason, and continues to learn and create making this community better.

I hope Mason continues doing his awesome work too. I hope he learns from this too.
