The rear plate is way to long.

attacker5 wrote:Skin is looking great but remember, dont do the shading, that will be layed over after, just do the coloration like you showed on the first "progress pic" you posted. Also, make sure the image is 2048 x 2048 since i only recently noticed photobucket rescaled the image.
Yeah i know i just made the shading so i could preview my skin and see what it would look like and yes i rescaled the wireframe to 2048x2048 as soon as i got it. Also may i ask who is making the skin/shading for this bike?

1) DJ, you are right, i am rushing it, i should slow down. I am just overly excited about it since to be honest, i amazed myself so far.
2) Even so, i did listen to you every single time you said something was wrong with it. I tried my best to correct it. For this "The engine defiantly needs work!", i thought i will add a tremendous amount of detail using normal maps, since you previously said i should not add to much detail as this will cause to many tris. maybe i am mistaken?
3) What do you mean when you say the side parts have bugger all space, i honestly thought they are quite big?
4) Could you suggest how I should improve the front fender uv?
raul_mx14 wrote:i think this wireframe need a template , to everybody doing on it , need one model for all .. sry my english
Sorry to be short off, Not gonna happen. Don't ask why. Besides, people cant help me unwrap it if you don't have the model. I guess i am just going to have to take my time on this. :(
1) k
2) Have a look at the left side of the engine, then compare it to the real thing. The left side cover is way too small.
3) The faces highlighted red dont have enough space. This will cause stretching

http://i923.photobucket.com/albums/ad77 ... ospace.jpg

Try applying a black and white checker pattern as a texture to the bike, and it will show where there is stretching on the bike

4)^^^

apply a relax by face angles to the front fender and that should do the trick.

Ok here is the new uv layout, make sure to scale it to 2048 x 2048. Everything is the same except the front fender is mapper better. Just move over your fender and scale it so it covers the new layout.
