Hi all. :)

I have been working on a new helmet in the last weeks. I think it turned out really good so i wanted to share it with you guys. The model im talking about is the Fox V2 (NOT the V3!)

The reasen to i have spent so long time on this model, is because it is my first model that im actually going to finish, so it will end with a realese. I can model, yes. But i CAN'T make a template, i really suck at skinning, so i really hope thats some of you guys out there want to help me, with this project.

Render of the 3D model, not the best but it shows pretty good, how to helmet looks like.

Image

Right now the model has the goggles from the the AGV helmet. I hope is okay for me, to use it in the finally realese. But i will accept and no.

Here is a pack with all these files in:

#UPDATE 1# 18/11 2011

Fox V2 blend-file
Render blend-file

and then the render.png

looks really good. the visor looks really flat when you look at it from the front. Other than that it looks like a top notch stuff, might make some skins for it

double post..

just checked the wireframe and it would be much funner skinning it if it was more connected in the back/the face below where its connected, as on some helmets there is some design that has to be connected at those 2 faces and that is a very visible place on the helmet(3rd person etc.) so i think you would want that place to be clean  impo.

I know this is a bit late but, I think you guys who skinning this model are wasting your time a little bit. The best looking helmet in mxs right now IMO is the bell moto 8 and it is only like 740 polys where as this one is double that. Keep going if you want but I just think its a few too many polys for a helmet right now.
