Models that would add atmosphere.
I'm getting my hands on 3ds Max, since I figure it's time to drop Wings3d.
So, here it goes: What do you guys want modeled? I'm talking about everything. Want a new helmet? Post it. Want scenery? Post it.
Here is what I have planned:
TLD SE-2
Bell Moto 8
661 Flight
And after that, I think I might make a few models.
Blow up monster can
Blow up Redbull banner (A good one, no offense DJ. )
Various tent styles
Corinthian helmet. (It'd be fucking awesome. Admit it.)
Snowmobile. Probably an Arctic Cat.
What else do you want? Be specific.

Actual people such as mechanics holding pitboards and leaned over to hang over a fence or banner if one is there, and just some crowd people with hands up or just relaxed.
Re: Models that would add atmosphere.
I've already modeled a blowup monster can and red bull can, and then also smaller cooler styles of them, they're in my object pack that I haven't re-released yet.

What about a chain link fence? Or Monster Energy vending machines to go in the pit area. Also a podium with the wall behind includung all the sponsor logos. Some of these might be stupid... I'm just spitballing here.

I think someone should focus on atmosphere sounds......
Like have a cheering croud noise and airhorns..........just all the random ambient noise that you here at the races.......things of that nature........ despite the prgression of models and
decals that dress up the tracks...... the envoirnments of all the tracks still feels quite dead.....nothing moves or makes noise......all you hear is the bike......it gets kinda boring......

JLV is the only one that can do anything with the sounds.

Re: Models that would add atmosphere.
Is it possible to use a blender animation in the game somehow? There is a program called makehuman that creates people of you're specifications, and would be easy to make a 30 Second girl. The only thing i dont know is how to:
1. Create animations in blender
2. Get the animation into the game.
I dont think it would be difficult to model the board, then just skin it and throw it in game. I think it would be better than the 2d guy that holds the board currently, and we could put it on the newer tracks and not bring down the quality. JMO.

Re: Models that would add atmosphere.
Voutare, as far as the red bull blow up arch, is it possible to make it move a little to simulate wind.....i think that would add so much realism, and it would look cool. I guess this goes back to my other question of getting an animation into the game.
Re: Models that would add atmosphere.
Guys. Its not possible to make things move, or have sounds. That is up to JLV to code in.

And really, adding in object physics shouldn't be hard at all, considering we already have these awesome engine and bike/rider physics.
