Blenderart Magazine, Turorials and Relevant Modeling Info

Post by ddmx »

Blenderart Magazine

Here you will find pertinent information on modeling techniques and tutorials specific to blender. For those of you experimenting with normal map baking the newest issue covers that. It should help out those of you that are aspiring modelers. Granted, the tutorials are not mxsim specific, with a little inginuity the tutorials can easily apply.

Yes, as far as I know. I have always used this measurement.

Does this magazine cover topics such as "how to make a cherry limeade slushy", because...

I could really go for a cherry limeage slushy right about now.

ddmx I have modeled a VERY basic mx bike for this game, I just cannot get the sizing right. I modeled this for a test and i cant do anything right! I've looked at jlvs yz250f clean blend file and im trying to base my bike off that, but when I "think" i get it at a good size, and i get into the game, the bike is small. not really small like an ant but small like a tricycle. But when I try to make it one unit bigger it is huge in the game! I cant get the size right, I am doing that scale and rotation thing but its just not the perfect size. I made the handle bar width like jlvs and i made the width of the bike and all. Also my swingarm doesnt seem long enough. Help please :(

Select your model, then do ctrl+A. Choose to apply "Scale and Rotation".
