I tried renaming the .jm "Francis250" but i still have that problem, i tried searching on my personal folder but there are no .jm files for the crf.
Any other ideas?

you need to name the skins to work with your jms not the yoshi ones

I was rendering in blender and i am working with cycles in blender. The only thing i dont know how to do is add norms. If someone knows could you please tell me. This is what i have now.

i'm having a problem exporting HAMMERDOWN's yz250 from blender as an obj into 3ds max. i keep getting an error saying 'polygon index error'.
what can i do to fix this?

I export the obj from blender, put it into wings, than export the obj from wings and than put it into 3ds max. Im not sure if there is a simpler way.

I export as a .fbx to get it to 3ds.
Only issue is sometimes it corrupts and
links random verts to each other.

i'm having these problems with max 2013 as well, it works fine with max 2008 tho...not sure what causing the problem. I usually do some more edgespliting or remove doubles, then it works...or export into .fbx as Boblob said ;)

i'm having some problems unwrapping this model i'm working on. i added hand guards from DJ's crf blend and got one on the bike in 3ds max, copied and pasted the hand guard, rotated and put it on the other side. however in the UV editor only one hand guard is showing. how do i fix this?

There is two uv's there just over lapping.
You should be able to select one handguard then shift the uv.
Keep in mind you will have to mirror the uv so the logo's are the right way.
