Modeling/Exporting Help please

Post by Beast2013 »

Hello, I've just learnt how to model so I made some stock Honda pipes. I've done the uv and skinning the pipe but In game parts of the pipe going invisible. I've tried everything I can think of, eg flip normals, recalculate normals inside and out. They do change the pipe but still bits are invisible. Any help would be much appreciated, thankyou.
(still needs a few adjustments on template)

Can you post your UV map, might help.you might have missed laying out a full map for the object.or might have double faces turned inside out.

Had the same problem a lot of times, you should flip the normals direction. Just a tip (maybe you already know that): in blender, edit mode-> press N -> on the side window, mesh display, normals, and select the cube that shows the face's normals. then look at the all the faces paying attention the normal line comes out from that face and not from the one there's behind. changing the lenght of the normal line in the side window could help. Thats all that I know, hope it would help
