Agreed. It just looks rushed, imo. I don't think the whole "grip tape" thing is working out for you, either.Andy_Hack wrote:you should put way more work in this dude.

Finally got the tracks to look the way I wanted. I am going to redo the body next then start on the blade.

No I just created a rectangle, moved the mesh to my liking and put them were they are. Sorry I'm newer to modeling. What would be best for creating an object for tracks? And how many tris is a good amount?

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Theres to much turbo smooth going on there. Too high poly. Nice model just not good for a game like mxs imo. Keep working though!

Re: Upcoming Models #2
in this case 500 tris maybe even 700 should be more than okay

I'm not really sure how you would do tracks. Maybe the way you have them is best. Using planes would limit the detail a lot and using large sections wouldn't allow for a nice uv.

Re: Upcoming Models #2
Thanks guys! Ya, alot of turbosmooth . I still have the basic block version saved before I went through and smoothed everything for a good looking result. Im going to keep playing around and learning new techniques before I try and make any "track objects" or "mxs models". I got alot to learn before I can plan on importing anything to the game that isnt going to need a million dollar computer to run efficently.
