I am practicing on how to bake norms i just asked if damien can do i because he is a better modeler than me

well you dont have to bake the norms all by yourself but it is good to know how to model and especially how to unwrapp a model in order to get good baking results. Just like m121c said :wink:

Cycles is just a different render engine that the basic engine Blender defaults to. Previously you could only bake in the normal internal engine, but you will soon be able to bake from Cycles too.

@MX985 The helmet looks pretty good, but it is way too long. Also I feel like the chin bar, or whatever you call the front of the helmet, is a little taller.

That looks really good to me. Are the buckles modeled or skinned on? You can probably get away with a few extra faces to give them some substance.

Buckles are modeled. Maybe I need to change their sizes.

Nice job Maxime! Did you sculpt them first and then retopo them? Looks really clean!

I used Zbrush to make a base. Then I used 3ds max for retopo. And after, I use 3ds max/Zbrush to add some details to the high poly model.
