If you want to learn how to use Blender and 3D modeling in general I would suggest looking up tutorial videos you would find fun to do on youtube. Maybe a car wheel, weapon, house, something. Start out simple and just follow along. There are also tons of websites just a search a way on google you can find with infinite amount of tips, tricks, tutorials, projects, and information you can do.
A great (but paid option) is digitaltutors. Very in depth lessons.
You will be able to teach yourself way more at a lot faster of a rate then anyone could do personally trust me.

Hey, you're forgetting the lower fork tubes, pretty sure I didn't touch touch those . I agree though, I'm not good enough at modeling (or have the time anymore, I hate to say this is the limiting factor, but I barely have enough time anymore to do daily chores) to fix some of the flaws on the "updated" models I've released.Andy_Hack wrote:Here's the latest Yamaha by yzmxer608:
Everything that's selected (red) is from DJs old 2010 Yamaha.
In this case yzmxer actually really put a lot of work into it! It's something I really honor, I can clearly see that he tried his best to improve the bike with his abilities in modelling, the outcome is obviously the best Yamaha model of them all, however there's still a gap to the quality of DJs original Yamaha. Most of these parts just don't fit the newer Yamahas, which makes the whole bike model look quite odd together with different styles of skinning. (Everyone skins things in a different style, if you mix it, things won't fit together anymore)
Again, I didn't want to offend anyone, but someone had to say it eventually. I think this game deserves a proper Yamaha for once, I'm not talking about a perfect one, but one we as a community can be proud of. Heck, I would even be down to make a front end or anything else, just to get rid of these outdated parts. People who know me, know that I'm always down to help, as long as I can see that people actually try their best.
Props to 985 who looks like he has a good YZF model going though.

I can't keep all my secrets to myself Stevo.
@Wiggles - Anything you find cool really. When I was learning I always liked modeling rifles, I just thought they looked badass. For me thats the whole motivation to modelling is making something cool. Any sort of tutorial is going to help.
