Don't know why I never thought of photoscaning before.?! Couldn't get the reference images to work well together and I struggled getting the overall shape right. this will make things a lot easier!

What software are you using for it? Everything I've seen has been pretty expensive.

Someone posted something about it earlier. Made me want to try it with my Tech 10's.

I used VisualsSMF to make a pointcloud then I used CMPMVS to make a mesh out of it. (completely free and legal) :D

Thanks! Tried it with my helmet but I don't know if it likes photos that completely circle the subject, not getting clean meshes from them. Tried using 1/4 shots around the whole helmet at level and slightly higher looking down heights (had it held up on a tripod stand and walked around it taking the photos).

Its probably the reflection of the helmet, 3d scans struggle with shiny/glossy objects.

Thats sick Benjii, perfect reference!

I was thinking this one but Mason could be right about the shinyness. Could also be the backdrop or setting be interfering? Like uneven light or anything?

The only Things i see that i dont like, is that the RMZ on The back part of the shroud needs to be shorter, (It doesnt look proportional) And Same for the 250 on the back.
Also the frot wheel seems way to far off the ground
Im not sure if we were to criticize the skin or the render so i just put what i saw
