Why do people use 100% black and/or white? Has something in the shader engine changed?

Not that I'm aware, I guess it's less necessary as people get better at understanding shader maps but I still value the use of 'static shading' to an extent so use between 7-10% blacks and whites.

I'm not 100% sure but I switch between two different blacks depending on the shading on the bike.

Wait you use either 99.996% or 99.992% black. You might aswell just use a hunnit.

I ever use #202020 for black on my gears and #f3f3f3 for white
