Something I made for the MMoto team for outdoors, it was the first time I made MXS graphics using Corel. I think I'm going to add to this a little bit. Also I know its not really upcoming but I wanted to share these and get a bit of criticism on em if someone could give me some pointers.

Trying to make a kit for 2018 Outdoors/SX. This took me about an hour to be happy with. Hitting a creative block. Any tips/ideas on how to overcome this block and how it looks so far?

John, I'm hitting the same wall at the moment. The best thing that works for me is to go into things with an open mind and experiment. I can tell from the skin you posted that you're definitely going with an open mind. It helps me to not look at other people's work because it seems like I end up almost copying. It's a unique kit, keep at that one I would like to see it.

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
I like everything but the fading lines in between the logo and bottom design. Seems out of place for the moment at least. I like the rest though!
Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
I agree with brandon on the bottom design part, but i would keep the lines under the logo in my opinion, i think its pretty different and it will look really good if you made the bottom part of the shroud flow with it. Maybe carry down a couple of the dashes a little more or something, but definatley dont get rid of them, it can work out sick if you do it right. Post updates, i can see this set being sick!Cummings55 wrote:I like everything but the fading lines in between the logo and bottom design. Seems out of place for the moment at least. Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2
This is what I changed it to, not sure if it's better or worse. I think I'm gonna make it go all the way to the end of the shroud instead of having it like cut at that angle. also wasn't exactly sure what to do for the gas tank piece so that might changeMatias43_ wrote:I agree with brandon on the bottom design part, but i would keep the lines under the logo in my opinion, i think its pretty different and it will look really good if you made the bottom part of the shroud flow with it. This is what I would change. Not saying you have to do this, but just what I, personally, would do.
-Extend the lower black polygon to the front of the shroud, and get rid of the gradient lines below that
-Make the fork guard logos match
-Get rid of the lower gradient lines on the number plates, and add a black stroke to the blue that is left
-Add more logos to the swingarm
-Add more logos to the front fender
Once again, that's just what I'd do. Your graphics, your bikes.
