Colour on my gear get shiny. Help?

I wanted to change colour on my gear with Gimp program. tok the colour from the bike and put it on, when in the game it get so shiny. how can i change that?

Perhaps you're missing a spec map? I don't use them for gear anymore as I don't need it, but shiny gear is usually a result of a missing specular map. I have no experience with gimp so I don't really know how it works, sorry

I got spec map. i have hvite and red gear on it. when i added a blue gear it got shiny. i found another post on this so i will try something there
