Sorry for the click baitish topic name. Hopefully y'all don't hate on me too much for asking a question that's this noobish. I have searched and read and watched and tried and tried and tried, but I can't seem to set any bike skins to any other dyno than the one it was created for. Unless I'm much mistaken it's not hard to do. Yet here I sit having done hours of research and nothing to show for it.
Is there anyone out there that would take pity on me and walk me through how to do this? I've tried every set of instructions I could find on this topic with no luck and I'm about to the point that I'd rather ride with the stock skin on a dyno I feel comfortable on than give in and ride the sxf or fc dyno.
Have mercy on me
Re: Have mercy on me
For all of the files for the bike (all 4 .jm files, the skin itself, and normal and spec maps) change the name of the bike to what you want it on, without changing any other part of the name.
rm125_fork_upper-test.jm
rm125_fork_lower-test.jm
rm125_frame-test.jm
rm125_swingarm-test.jm

Re: Have mercy on me
Not quite sure where you're getting the other files from. I only have the SAF files.
Re: Have mercy on me
You can do it with a saf file, just right click on the saf and click edit with notepad ++ which you need to download if you dont have it and change the name of it to the dyno you want. Just make sure you change all the jm names and make sure the are the same or you will have problems.
Here are the 17 dyno names
450sxfv2016
crf450v2017
fc450v2016
kx450fv2016
rmz450
yz450fv2014
350sxfv2016
250sxfv2016
crf250v2014
fc250v2016
kx250fv2017
rmz250v2010
yz250fv2014

Re: Have mercy on me
Is there a list of all the dynos names? I've been trying to use the 2018 models without any luck.

Re: Have mercy on me
Forget I asked that. Just seen that you gave all 17 valid names. So is there a way to use the 2018 dyno of a particular bike?
Re: Have mercy on me
Yes, the ones i listed above works for all of the 18 dynos, example 250sxfv2016 puts your skin on the 2016, 2017 and 2018 ktm.Shanasman450 wrote:Forget I asked that. Just seen that you gave all 17 valid names. So is there a way to use the 2018 dyno of a particular bike?

Thank you very much. That seemed to be my issue.
