(Note from jlv: if you're looking for the official 2.80 export script go here)
I edited JLV's code for blender 2.6 and updated the export script to work with the newest release of blender. I personally love blender 2.8 and all the new features and it seems like they've made it easier for newbies. I hope you all enjoy!
To install in 2.8...
1. go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install Add-on from File
2. select the downloaded file
3. Find "Import-Export: Export MX Simulator Model" in the list and check it to enable the add on
Also by no means is this "official" in any way. This was not edited by JLV so he is not responsible if this code is awful
I have used blender before and have not had a problem with it. However after I install this add-on my .jm file is tiny and the only thing that it says in the file is JM1. And whenever I go to look at the object in game the object is not there. Any ideas of what the problem could be or what I could be doing wrong?

Make sure you have the object you want to export selected.

I do. Like I have said, I have used blender multiple times and have many statues, including a lot that are used on the Underground MX track and I have built a few stadiums and got them into game. However, that was on my laptop with an older version of blender. I just can't figure it out with this one.

I have even went to some old objects that I have gotten into game before and the .jm file still only said JM1
