Your .pngs should be fc450v2016-2019 450 SXF_norm.png so instead of an underscore at the beginning it should be -

I fixed the dashes so now it’ll show up in the bike setup, but when I go to ride it, it reverts back to the stock husky.

When I load into a game, it’ll say can’t load the frame, side plate, front plate, or the upper fork.

You can't have spaces in your jm names

Could you share your current file names and the location where you're placing them?

fc450v2016_fork_upper-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_fork_lower-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_frame-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_swingarm-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016-Lone Wolf KTM-Crase #329.png
fc450v2016-Lone Wolf KTM_norm.png
fc450v2016-Lone Wolf KTM_spec.png

i changed the skin name to the team name. i have them in a personal folder saved on my desktop, then i'll make a saf and put it into the MX Simulator Personal Folder, just like i do with my gear. And when i go into the game, i can click on it in the bike settings, but when i go to ride, it's just the stock husky. in the game chat it says it can't load any of the jms, including some front and side plates, but i didn't think we would need those. i had a buddy who was able to put graphics on the bike and put it into the game for the 2019 season, but he doesn't get on anymore so i don't know how he got it to work.

you have spaces in your png name...
It needs to match the jm, so it knows what jm to read

First, make sure you have file extensions enabled. This is usually turned off by default, and it may be causing you to name your files incorrectly.

Name your files like this, and drop them into your personal folder without packing them into a saf. You can saf them later once everything reads in game. The most important factor is that the red text matches.

fc450v2016_fork_upper-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_fork_lower-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_frame-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016_swingarm-LoneWolfKTM.jm
fc450v2016-LoneWolfKTM-Crase #329.png
fc450v2016-LoneWolfKTM_norm.png
fc450v2016-LoneWolfKTM_spec.png

FWIW, I have been putting spaces in my file names for 10 years with no issue, but a few people lately have suggested that it causes problems. I would suggest adding the spaces back in for readability after you get everything working.

If you still get error messages about the JMs, try downloading them from your original source again. Your problem may be simply be unreadable files.
