yeah, it has some issues, not sure what tho, hope to get it fixed with some normals.

Its the smoothing groups. You must have edgesplitted by angle. Just make it one smoothing group again, and edgesplit manually

i dont know how to make smooting groups, im just adding some poly´s, with a few more im sure that it will look way better.

please dont skin the helmet shell, it will have changes on the uwv due polygon add.

i didnt posted the jm file yet, i want to make sure that everything is allright first.
also the ingame model looks bad as dj pinted it out.

Are you using blender? Just remove vertex doubles, then recalculate normals outside

do not use the actual uv layout, i´ve remapped the whole helet as i had to do various readjustments :?
i´ll upload as soon as i can get it ingame properly :)

-Bigger googles
-added poly´s for a rounder and smoother surface
-whole new wireframe, it´s better than the older. dont forget t use this one!

had it halfway mapped but my notebook got stoled :cry: with all my stuff, i have a very old version here and might start fixing the whole model again.
not very soon tho.
