PHOTOSHOP HELP

HI, im having some trouble with photoshop every time i do color fill it gets rid of all the texture and shading and every thing else is wat tool or option in photoshop do u use to make all the texture and stuff stay.

are you just trying to change the color of something? I'd just use Hue Saturation ctrl-u in most cases. Select the area you want and use it.

example and im not the best at this yet.
When i change any plastics or the seats on the 2010 yz it gets rid of the bolt hole the shape to it its just flat on the shroud, and on the seat i do a white top and the texture or the little bumps on it dissapear.

its actually perfectly fine for most things.

sometimes its even easier to use, depending on what youre doing.

i have CS5 and GIMP. and i still use gimp on a regular basis.

well when i tried gimp i didnrt know what i was doing and i have cs5 to what do u think is a better program for skinning

Ok i have another question when i skin a obj file. Ok i use the 3d model turn thing i forgot the name anyway and then i do a layer fill on it then i go to turn it and theres a like x thing so i cant any help
