The Back fender looks horrible, sorry but its true it needs to come to more of a point.

The carbon fiber texture was mine too :D
Kwic, if you're commenting off of the last picture, i think the back fender is cut off, that's not the end of it.

I hope the front fender will have more detail than what i'm seeing now. Just looks like a reformed ddmx fender.

yet the bike needs some good improvements
the plastics are to plain and the texture looks kinda artificial

There is no shading on the skin, except some quick shading on the shroud. The pictures were just to show the graphics. If you really think about it, no plastic should be shaded, we have mapping now.

yes i talked to him about it
as far as shading goes for mxs it will be normal mapped mva ..ill whip up some nice shading may release both for mxs :wink:

Mapping will work good for good meshes DJ showed something about that plus i still think that a bit of shade make a better skin

The only shading you should be trying to do it ambient occlusion, which can either be rendered, or drawn freehand.

EG:

That can usually be rendered to texture, but ends up messy due to overlapping faces. So sometimes it is better to estimate and draw it by hand
