2010 Supercross Series Rd 6 - Thursday Night Feb 11

When: Thursday Feb 11 2010, 9:00 PM EST (Click here for other time zones.).
Format:
No signups, just show up and race. The race format will depend on how many show up.
1-10 riders: All go directly to main.
11-20 riders: 2 heats. Top 4 go to main, 5th-8th go to last chance. Top 2 from last chance go to main.
21-30 riders: 3 heats. Top 3 go to main, 4th-6th go to last chance. Winner of last chance goes to main.
31-40 riders: 4 heats. Top 2 go to main, 3rd-4th go to last chance. Top 2 from last chance go to main.
Heats and LCQ are 5 laps. Main is 10 laps.
Points payout:
1st - 15 points
2nd - 13 points
3rd - 11 points
4th - 9 points
5th - 7 points
6th - 5 points
7th - 4 points
8th - 3 points
9th - 2 points
10th - 1 point

this isnt criticisim or anthing like that just an idea. it would have been pretty awesome if u made the stadium pink like where the seat and stuff r blue made that pink seeing as its the race for cure

the track is cool but i really don't think that the sand is realistic it feels like im riding penfold park.

yeah i really have to agree! the track is really great but two things that feel really strange and different for all the other track, first the sand that is terrible, slide too much, does not feel real at all, it was much better on the track with sand on the forst 5 series, and then this table jump over the bridge, where you fly much too long and do not land on the landing but on flat (does not feel real also,usually the jumps are made to land in good landing with the appropriate speed but here we arrive too fast and fly too much which i think it s not going to be the case saturday during the "real" race).
except this, this track is really great as always but something will be nice to do for the sand in my opinion!

You get a lagspike if you land on the bridge (not that theres a problem getting over it) and, as above posters also mentioned, the sand is too slippery, feels like mud, front wheel washes out so easily..Its the same as the previous rounds, right? Its probably just that its a 180 instead of a 90 degree turn, but still, too hard. Other than that, great

Yeah im in general agreeance about the sand. I think the best sand was on DJ and Mittocs track.
The rest of the track is awesome, although im not sure if people will be able to jump across the dragonbacks which im sure will be possible in real life

Sand is sketch, track is akward too, should be interesting come thursday.

Man, this sand is killing me. Maybe ill just hold it WFO and hang on for dear life.

I like the sand. It is near impossible to be consistent through it, and that makes the track more technical. The layout now is very boring i see people taking the same rythems. So i see the sand as a way to make things more interesting.
