Have to agree with Chex that there isn't a bad entry. You can flow really well on all of them if you hit the lines right. Voting is going to be tough I think.

I agree with the 2 above comments, the Marona practice facility is extremely fun and i can run laps there forever but it suffers a little in the visual department.
Redwood looks AMAZING but is a little tough for the newbies to ride.
Chex/dj/wilsons track has a great displacement and environment to follow that up
Yz, well he is straight noob.
Lacoochie is pretty sick, looks really good and has some fun sections.

Gonna be hard to pick.

I agree. None of the tracks are unrideable and they all have something fun going for them. I guess I'll give my reviews.

Edmonton Ave : Very nice. Looks and rides good. This track was the easiest for me to find my flow apart from my own. I don't really have much bad to say. I would have liked to have seen 1 or 2 longer rhythm sections but thats about it.

Elkhart Sx : I like it. Its different but its not way out there. It kinda feels like I'm riding Canard's SX track. The decals are good quality but I don't like the brown spots. I'm not even sure what they're actually there for. I would have liked some more tire tracks/ruts in the decals. Some of the jumps seem a little big and the jump sides are a little too steep. The only othere thing I didn't like was that single at the end of the 2nd whoops section. I cannot get that one down. I am having to jump through the whoops to make that single manageable. Still overall a pretty fun track when you get the feel for it.

Lacoochie SX : I'm a little turned off with the tileinfo. I can't really figure it out. I'm almost tip-toeing through the corners cause I'm just not sure at what point the rear end is gonna want to come around on me. The decals were just a touch too orangey for me but not too bad. The jumps are nice once you figure out the lines. The 3-4-3 after the big finish line type double is one of my favorite sections on any of these tracks. It just feels so good when you nail it (thats what she said).

Redwood Private Track : Honestly I was let down with this one. It looks amazing for sure but I just struggle so much riding it. The big main triple and finish line are way too easy to over jump. The rhythm sections are difficult to manage consistently. If you place a gradient over the sections in the editor you actually see the the faces of the jumps are an s-shape with the lip curving away from you. If the jumps were tweaked this track could be really nice.

Chex does. I need to get better at decals, the brown spots were supposed to be where the dirt had a line worn in. Didn't work out the greatest.

well kawa we are not singling any specific person. nor there " tracks " in general, just a personal preference, and opinion, on what could have been better. Honestly, I think Redwood has more of the more realistic look to it, but as far as feel. I did not get the feel outta that track, I am a newbie so of course every track will take me longer, in which I am still practicing non stop at getting smoother there, and everwhere else. But we are just discussing his 1 track that was made for this comp, Not all of HIStracks. DJD killed it , IMO, as well everyone else. I can't wait for judging, like yz said, it is going to be extremely hard to vote.

Let me start by saying all the tracks are visually stunning.

I'm not fond of most tracks' tileinfo for the traction, it feels too grippy on all the tracks causing the bike to bog in turns and wheelie with small amounts of throttle, sometimes it feels like there are invisible hands grabbing my front wheel into a tucked position causing me to have a fair amount of mid-turn tip-overs.

Some of the disp maps make me wonder if the creators tested more than a single line option as many of the alternate lines don't seem to work well and I usually end up crashing into the lip of another jump.

The objects are really good on all the tracks and really helps to set the environments making for some fantastic screenshot opportunities.

First off, Elkhart and Marona are going to get extra points in my book because they are actually playable online. I think there is a silent majority who have crappy computers and can't really even play most tracks online with a reasonable frame rate.

Redwood woulda/coulda/shoulda been the best, but the step-on step-offs really did ruin it. It may be fine for a solo practice track to fine-tune those technical skills, but it is not good for racing. It is too hard to be consistent.

I liked marona a whole lot except for one rhythm section. The one right before you turn around and go backwards down the start straightaway. It's too hard to triple out, or to triple in. I'm sure there's way to get through there very quick but it's just not the way i like rhythm sections to be.

I thought that there was too much grip on all of them, and the grip is very tricky to figure out on lacoochie. In real life, it is not that hard to give it too much gas and make the back end slide out. With these tracks, too much throttle usually results in a wheelie or a wobble to a high-side.

Also, I like tracks that still look good even with the lowest possible graphics settings (which I have to use to play online.) Checker's tracks look great on low graphics. Lacoochie is very hard to play with low graphics, it looks like I am riding a pink marshmallow supercross track with no texture and little indication of where the jumps and bumps are.
