New National Series Idea?

I've never heard of series with people all over the world. Ofcource Ive heard other games with online multiplayer, im not saying online multiplayer is a bad idea, Im saying that hosting a "national series" online is a bad idea.

i know i agree wake once multilayer comes out i guarantee you will never splice again it will be so boring when you could go out and bang bars in real time

I never said im not going to do that...
I think that a nationalseries should be spliced, who ever wants to race with ppl online do that. But there is noway you'll get more than 10ppl to race at the same time unless everyone are home, awake, and dont have to get up early the next morning.

maybe not but there will be alot more people buying and using the game once multilayer is made i bet we will have almost twice as much people as we do now

Yeah I guess. I just dont think that an online nationals series is a great idea. Let me take DJ and Puma for an example, When I have to go to bed, DJ wakes up/Puma comes home from school. When I wake up, I usally dont get infront of my computer, exept fridays when I got one hour extra before school. Then when I get home (4-5 o'clock my time) Puma is either in school or sleeping idk,/DJ is usally sleeping.
But forsure Im gonna race online I cant wait for it, its just gonna be hard to race with guys outside europe (usa has many timezones so Ill probly be able to race some americans, same with aus)

I think we should set up a national series and a sx series at different times during the year. I think we should race once a week, SX races would consist of qualifying tues-friday with the top twenty 5-lap times making the main. Then by midnight pacific time on saturday all the demos must be turned in, 20 laps. The race is spliced together, results come in, points are awarded. At the end of the series we have a champ and they are awarded the number one plate for SX.

For Nationals qualifying is tues-friday with top twenty 5-lap times qualifying. Then by midnight pacific time on saturday all the demos must be turned in, 1st moto is 10 laps, second moto is 15 laps (that number may be adjusted for shorter tracks). The race is spliced together, results come in, points are awarded. At the end of the series we have a champ and they are awarded the number one plate for MX.

I think the best way to make this a reality would be to have some sort of prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for each of the series.

plus we dont have the peple to qualify down to 20 we usually dont even have 20

Thats why I see the need for a prize. I know that if there is a chance I could win something I am much more likely to take it seriously and compete than if its just for fun. Like I said its just what I think would be cool.

Well, Unless we can do races after 8 PM and before 10 PM my time, then I won't ever be able to do them.



Multiplayer doesn't work well for races, at all.

this is easily moddable is it cuase if it is then when multiplayer comes out we need to watch for things like caffeine

Uhm, how do we even know everyone is gonna be able to host? couse some of you use modem, right? so if its gonna be the same as in Counterstrike, You port is gonna get blocked or what ever happends, and think of all the ping we swedish guys are gonna get when we join a us game.
