Cant decide on the boots yet im looking at Tech 3's and under i like the old style boots like that 661 boot someone posted.
How good is this one industries gear? It was on closeout so i got it for 70$.
funny phanthry I really am riding for Dal Kawa and they carry all the major brands and I get most of it for free apart from helmet and boots. Tech 10's $600 for you= Tech 10's $100 for me My shoei helmets are the same way.

Someone is willing to drop 1000's of bucks into a D classer? How'd you manage that hookup? Must be one of your "buddies" again.
Pecker, nobody believes you. There are kids winning national titles, like Jeremy Martin, or making SX mains, who don't get stuff that cheap. That story might work on your friends at school, but I'm way too old to be fooled by that crap.
I cant get used to not feeling my bike in the same way when wearing those :/ I do want to use them, but I just hate that feeling when wearing them. Any tips?
True haha Well probably most of the people would use these if they would be just a bit cheaper I guess. And people like me can't even buy a proper ones.
I've loved them from the start. For me it made pinching the bike easier as I didn't have to move my legs inward so much to be able to pinch. The only thing is you can't twist your legs as much, but do you really want to do that anyways? I know a few times since I've started wearing them (maybe 1x per year) I'll hook my foot on the ground and because I can't twist my leg aside I end up running my own foot over, it hurts like hell and makes your foot go numb, but that's really the only awkwardness I've experienced while wearing them.
There are some cheaper alternatives to the asterisk braces, or if you can convince a doctor that you need them you can get prescribed CTi's.
