Thats fucked. I read somewhere about a worldwide release. Like everywhere got it at the same time.Mittocs wrote:no you actually get it 2 months late. Aussies don't deserve anything on timeMikey wrote:Because im from Aussie, do i get it earlier?

Re: mx vs atv alive gameplay

So, I played Alive, checkerz, I'm going to say this like a parent would say to their child (as I'm the consumer and "you" are the creators) I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. There was no WOW factor, I did see a change, but it wasn't as much as you've hyped it to be. Things I did notice and liked, after 5 laps on a snowy national track. The rider definitely layed the bike over very well in the ruts. You really do have to use the brakes! Seemed like the rider had more control in the air or atleast you could scrub the hell out of the jump and not fall of the bike. Now, the things I noticed and didn't like. The bike seemed like it still grabbed stupid ruts that you weren't even aiming for and the rut leads to a terrible line, as in it went to a tire or off the track. Dunno if all the tracks do this but that track did. When you hold the clutch in and you are on the gas, there is 4 little bars or blocks that fill up down at the bottom right of the screen...what it that checkerz? Just make the clutch on or off, not some stupid ass "4 bars of clutch". The bike I used on the game (Canard & the good ol' blaze 250f) seems slow as HELL! Don't know if it was the assists being on or what, but god that was really a killer, I wanted to be able to hop on a track and throw fat whips like on reflex, but with some refined physics and better graphics. It seemed like leaning back doesn't help at all, it actually hurts you, on an uphill roller section I would lean back at what seemed to be a decent speed that I entered them and the bike just wanted to wheelie over every roller because the bike just keeps on trying to preload. Final thing, the assists were on, and I would take off a jump facing one way and it seems like the bike just moved over in mid air, and I didn't scrub or whip the jump. Hopefully you guys get some of this stuff fixed.

no they wont, its release time in just a month and everyone think they will chance it all, no way.

Re: mx vs atv alive gameplay
I would rather have to get it a Month later then be disappointed with the game.
Re: mx vs atv alive gameplay
Played 3 out of 5 laps, said, "good job", and handed the controller to the 7 year old behind me. I think I did that right.

I(along with a few million others) waited through a year and a half of official delays for GT5 and am very pleased with the results. You won't find that in ANY other console game developer(barring production probs). Hope there won't be too much backlash from disappointed fans.tyskorn wrote:I would rather have to get it a Month later then be disappointed with the game.

same here man, I have this feeling that if this game does not produce the fun expected in a mx game, it could mean a serious death rate of mva fans.

Re: mx vs atv alive gameplay
Exactly. I honestly think this game will make or break the MVA franchise. A shit release will be 3 hyped games that haven't produced. I'd be much happier with a severe delay and really perfect the physics and gameplay, instead of doing a reflex all over again.motoxjeff#7 wrote:TeamHavocRacing wrote:I(along with a few million others) waited through a year and a half of official delays for GT5 and am very pleased with the results. Re: mx vs atv alive gameplay
I know this is not the thread to discuss this, but I am not about to create a new topic just for it, but what exactly is it that keeps mxsim from being a Huge and wide fan base game. I mean it has the graphics - deformation ( mva style , and I know mxs has something like it ), and Physics are tough as hell, but legit after you get the basics down, I dunno maybe a dumb question but was is it that this game needs in order to get even more ppl.
