Need some serious help with skins/graphics

Post by dhow323 »

Hey guys, I bought the game this morning and I'm loving it! I'm really glad I bought it! But now I want to look cool. I watched the tutorial in the FAQ thread and it's still no help to me because I don't know where to find the right bikes. I'm not exactly sure how to use Win Rar when it comes to downloading gear. Can anyone direct me to a thread with step by step instructions on how to do this? Also, instead of my bike turning, it seems to just slide, I tried messing with the dampeners and it still doesn't want to cooperate, what setting should I use?

For your bike first. Turn off "Arcade Physics" and set "Stability" on 80. Pretty good setting for learning the game. Anything other isn´t so important in the begining.

all the necessary rider and bike models. Use 7zip (7z) instead of winrar, because many files are in 7z (7zip). Extract (unpack) the files for example to the desktop, than move them into you personal folder. ;)

Can´t help you more now, gtg to my daddy and study my homeworks (since I´ve been lazy for a couple of weeks -.-)
Write again if you have any further quesions. :)

Thanks for the reply bud. I think I tweaked my advanced setting a little too much because when I turned off the arcade physics and turned stability on 80, I was all over the place, Whenver I learn one way I just seem to fall on the ground, pretty much impossible to ride. Is there anyway to reset the settings? If not I'm gonna need a little help with the settings haha. Thanks again man

The stability setting works by changing the advanced settings. So when you change the stability it resets the advanced settings.

Thanks for the reply man, I got the skins to work and all of that, but why is it still impossible to ride without arcade physics?

You can also try to start with 100 stability without arcade physics. If you can ride some consistent laptimes, then you should try to lower your stability to 90 etc etc.

You're not missing anything but practice. Not gonna lie, it's hard. Keep at it and you'll be addicted in no time, just like the rest of us are.
