My computer goes really slow on full screen during game play

The game itselsf seems so badass versus all the other mx games out there,but when I play it plays in 3-6 second intervals rather than just playing normal,is there any way to play non full screen or speed the game up? and how,yes I am a noob so I need all of the help and how to's thank you guys in advance

try turning the graphic settings down the will be on main menu graphics controlls i think

and also make sure all other running programs are closed

my computer also does that when my graphics cards drivers arent up to date..make sure u have ur latest ones

If it's just getting a tiny studder every few seconds, try turning down the texture detail settings. If it's a big studder, there's probably some other program stealing cpu cycles. Windows update does it to my laptop all the time.

I have had a problem of slowing in the game when I used: --erode 1.0 I tried with --erode 0.5 or 0.1 but too downturns, everything is ok if erode off with 20 riders! Pending a corrective patch ...
