don't know how good that last computer you listed is, the link is dead! haha!

I just built myself a new system. I wanted to stay within an 800 or so budget, but my buddy got me to break that for a better processor and video card. I'm glad i did too. heres my specs...

MSI P67a-g45 mobo
intel core i5 2400
8 gb g.skill value ram (i dont need heatspreaders and im not OCing).
sapphire hd radeon 6850 graphics
OCZ modxtreme 600w psu
western digital 1 TB hdd, 64mb cache, 6 Gb/s

along with the case, dvd rw drive, and windows 7 pro it came out to about $950. under a grand and so far everything ive thrown at this thing has been flawless. my old computer could barely run MXS, it was an HP from 2003, upgraded with 1 gig of ram (weee!) and a 256mb ati PCI graphics card. oh, and the P4 i threw in there because the celeron sucked.

that will just give you an idea of what can run MXS with full settings. you could probably do it with even cheaper parts, like an older core 2 quad processor and a cheaper graphics card, but i wanted something that i wouldnt have to upgrade right away. this should hold me for a little while i hope!

and i built rather than bought a premade computer because i wanted to be able to do anything without being constrained by possible proprietary hardware, or cheap motherboards and components. thats the thing i hate about premade computers. you never know when theyll throw a part that you cant replace except for something from the factory, or they skimp on the quality of components.

It will run the game fine, You'll need to upgrade it for any hardcore games though, it will last you a while but for what your getting it's a pretty high price tag.

That computer doesn't include Windows. Add at least a hundred to the price and if you add a hundred more you can have the same as mine. Id pass.

okay so after saving money for a while i think i am finally ready to make a purchase. (the computer i bought previously was never sent by the seller, got money back though) i have a price range of a total of $1500. but with getting a mouse keyboard sperakers and monitor i wanna leave a little room. i have been looking around on different websites and doing a ton of research and have found a few different computers to look at. and if someone can give me a few tips on if these will work please do. i could have someone build me one but i am looking for one that has adobe cs5 included and you cant build one with that.

CPU 1-http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-i7-2600k-Sand ... 498wt_1139
This one is a little more money but hopefully bidding will not go over my price range and can be purchased at a decent price.

CPU 2- http://cgi.ebay.com/KICK-ASS-Gaming-Mul ... 0058wt_992
This one has a lower price and less ram bur i could always upgrade that in the future if i needed too.

Please give me feedback on which one you think would work out the best and if you believe it will run mx simulator smoothly in a full room. Thanks a bunch for anyone that helps!

Ps: If i don't get a few replies within the next few days Im going to make a new topic. but i didn't want to start a whole new one.

The first one for sure, anything with "KICK ASS" in it is bound to be shit.
(After looking at the specs i can also see that the 2nd one is overpriced)

Yes, definately the 1st one. 2600k and a 470 is ok :) Worth the price anyways.. :)
