I feel like this question has been answered at least 5 times in this thread alone...

You need to place the snapshot exe file in where the current MX.exe is, the C:\Program Files\MX Simulator folder. Either rename the snapshot to MX.exe, or create a new shortcut linking to the snapshot EXE...

JLV, why not package these in a simple EXE installer? Seems it would save much trouble for at least 97% of the community, lol.

It would be a time saver when it's a month between releases, but I've also put out three snapshots in one day before. These aren't really meant for lusers.

I should make official updates more frequently instead.

Sorry should of specified more. It won't unpack it at all so I have no way to even put it in the C:\Program Files\MX Simulator folder. It opens winrar and says cannot find game.

Like I said I'm not a noob I did it fine on the other pc.

Nothing to unpack, just copy and paste the files.

Jlv I think you need to start adding where to put it, seems like most people don't understand it with just the "replace mx.exe".

I believe this preceded the 450's. The 450's have always used the same sounds.
