skinning 2-stroke pipe.

Post by zane »

hi guys,

my names zane and ive had the demo version of this game and i'll probably buy the game soon.

i was tinkering with a downloaded version of the yz125 hurricane ( i give credits to whoever made it and will only use it for personal use).

and i have made a pro taper bar pad which looks mad in-game and im messing around with a few other things.

I was just wondering if anybody knows where to find the part for the skining of the pipe.

ive uploaded a picture of the skin, so its easier for you guys to understand.

cheers

zane

http://mxsimulator.com/models/

They are large files, and is only half of the layout (need to get suspension and stuff of the crf250 skin). Heres the whole yz125 layout i've put together

Just put that over your picture and reduce the opacity to see where your putting stuff

the best way to figure out stuff like this is to colour a bit of the wireframe bright green, then use the skin ingame and see what part it has altered, then you will get to learn what goes where and what all the bits and pieces are.

Nice job on the bar pad there zane. Wanted to put one in when I created it, but I have problems with bar pads, as you can see from the simple one on my cr.

Hey DJ, do you also have the full wire frame for the KX 125 and CR125, would like to make a CR from scratch, and have a few ideas for the KX. The wire frames in the models thread don't have the suspension.

You have to open up the crf250 layout to get the suspension etc. Ive uploaded the kx125, only cos I already made it, but you can put the cr125 together yourself. -

sry about the double post, but the crf doesn't have the susp either from that link, or at least I'm not getting it from that one, tried all of the tga files. I'll get it off your kx wire frame though, thanks again. :D
