Georgia amateur killed
I don't have a name or any real details but we lost a kid on the track yesterday afternoon at an Arenacross race here in Alabama. All I know is he was 18 and from Northwest Georgia. The only details I have are that he landed wrong on a jump and was thrown into the wall. He was apparently pronounced dead on the track. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends and I ask if anyone on here from this area has any news or info let me know. Thanks

Holy shit, what the hell is up with all the bad injuries and deaths in our sport lately? It's getting out of control. Never before have we heard of so many incidents.

This really is getting bad. Way too many people are ending almost dead or dead. I don't know who to blame, the tracks or the riders.
Ride in Peace, Daniel.

Re: Georgia amateur killed
Thanks Shack I appreciate the info. There definitely has been way too many of these reports and it never gets easier. I was not at the arena this weekend but by all accounts I've been told it was really just one of those bad freak accidents. I know the arena and would say it is by far one of the nicest and safest I've been to. This is its second year in existence. I also know the operators of this arena/series very well and they are taking this hard. R.I.P. Daniel

A kid died in the Powder Mountain Motocross race up here over the Summer. Cased a triple and landed on his head. Dead instantly.
