DRT "Sand MX Series" - THE SERIES IS OVER!
THE SERIES IS OVER!
The Series was brought to you by DRT
Congratulation to Frederik and Logan!
Round 1:
30 January
Track: Fort Winton – Sand MX
Round 1 race report!
The Rockstar MX1 Suzuki dominated the MX1-class as Frederik already during the practise showed a lot of speed.
He did also win both heats, followed by his team mate Twinky-Winky.
DRT's Lasse Larsen had a rough night and did only just get 3rd overall followed by Yoshimura RT's Maryan Bork and DRT's Maach.
In the MX2-class Logan showed how to race a 125 to the fullest! He won 1st heat and made a consisten finish in heat 2nd as he got 2nd.
Rival Racing's SlimT got 3rd in 1st heat and won 2nd heat.
Honda Motorsports' Fjeldberg and WolffKTM's Coco didn't get the result they wanted, as they rounded up as 3rd and 4th overall.
Round 2:
6 February
Track: The all new R.E.S Axel Replica!
Round 2 race report!
After a week off, about 20 riders decided to show up!
In the MX2 class Logan again was on fire! He simply just pinned his yamaha 125cc into a win overall!
Coco did though take home a win in the heat 1, but struggled in heat 2 and only got 2nd overall by 1 point from a good riding SlimT, who had a dicent night.
As the points stands Logan leads by 13 points over SlimT who is 2 points a head of Coco.
In the MX1 class Robin (RH870r) dominaded the night by winning heat 1 with 49 seconds and heat 2 with 29 seconds.
The DRT - Larsen got 2nd overall by a 3-3 moto-score and the limited Decal rider Frederick got 3rd overall after a tough heat 1.
Frederik from the Rockstar Suzuki team still holds on to the first place in points over Larsen and Twinky-Winky, who are not tight in points!
Round 3:
13 February
Track: Millville
Round 3 race report!
After 2 fun rounds the series headed to the final.
The current pointleaders were Logan in MX2 and Frederik in MX1.
In the MX2 class, once again, Logan was there to PIN his yz125 to a win by more than 40 seconds and was now very close to the take championship.
Behind Logan Coco and Fjeldberg had a pretty good battle and after the penalty was given Fjeldberg found him self in 2nd and Coco took 3rd in heat 1.
Robert didn't get the things going - even though he ran some very fast laps.
Heat 2 was another story though! Robert won heat 2 after one of the most exiting heat's during the whole series!
Coco showed that he also couls beat Logan and god 2nd as Logan just cruised into 3rd and won the championship in the MX2 class!
Podium round 3 MX2-class:
1st - Logan
2nd - Coco
3rd - Robert
In MX1 class heat 1 was a good one for the Rockstar MX1 Suzuki rider Frederik and now looked pretty good to win the championship.
He won the heat over Robin (JR870R) and Larsen got 3rd in heat 1.
As the gates droped for heat 2 in the MX1 class Larsen was only 2 points in front of Twinky for 2nd over all in the championship.
Robin got the holeshot and didn't look back. When the finalflag was out he was over 35 second head of number 2.
Frederik got 4th in heat 2 and therefore he could call him self champion.
On second to last lap Twinky made the move on Larsen into 2nd place and finished there as Larsen finished 3rd.
Therefore Twinky took 2nd in the championship on a better finish in the very last heat.
Podium round 3 MX1-class:
1st - JR870r
2nd - Frederik
3rd - Twinky-Winky
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RACING GUYS!

sounds good man. while the sx season is on, I would prefer any small sx season. Best races I can remember were the americano races... short sx track, 2 lap races, and the last one is out after every race
think about it

It's a good idea Sib!
I'll think about it as a upcoming series in the near future!
But I think you should sign up here as well - you don't have to race all three.

A bit nervous about the server but should be fun.
Black Mesa would be a good track. and Possum Creek.

Thanks for the track suggestions Checkers!
I'll keep em' in mind.
About the server - we should be okay, as long the guys remember to lower their graphics and roost density.

And with some luck it is possible to add RES Axel to the tracks, it's a pretty nice sand track that is almost done . Otherwise I'm also a fan of southwick but it doesn't feel that sand-ish as possum creek and fort winton. Actually we don't have a lot of sandtracks on this game. Maybe somebody should try to replicate Lommel or make some other around 2min. laptime track for the MXSON this year .
