I still can't get it to happen. Can you send me your config file? Maybe I need to use the same suspension/gearing settings too.

all my suspension is set at 20 and my gearing is at -2. which now that i think about it that could be the problem.

I still can't reproduce it. My best guess would be that the suspension is bouncing off the stop and causing an oscillation. When you watch a replay, is the suspension bouncing all over the place?

Same thing happened to me. With 20 compress/rebound it does it, and anything around there it does it also. I haven't tried it on anything different though.

Does this work better?

I added some damping between the rear wheel and the flywheel, but I don't know if it will fix it or not. I wish I could reproduce it here.

Anyone try it? If you didn't see the link here it is again:

http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2008-04-14.exe

I haven't managed to reproduce the bug so if someone could give this a test that would be great.

Downloading. Might take me a while to actually test. I'm about to call a guy about a KX 125.

Quick test:

It isn't doing it as much in the air, but when you go from 5th gear pinned and slam the breaks with antilock, it studders. I'll give you my settings in a second.

Fork Compression: 34
Fork Rebound: 61

Shock Compression: 50
Shock Rebound: 58

Go from 5th pinned and hit the front and rear antilock, and you will see the screen and the RPM gauge skip around madly.

Here's a new build with 4 times the flywheel damping. This does seem to kill the rear wheel hop under braking.

http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2008-04-15.exe

This shouldn't have had any effect on the editor. Does TAB still toggle 3rd person or is it completely dead?

For some reason it's not seeing the --editor option then. Try opening a command prompt and typing:

cd "C:\Program Files\MX Simulator"
mx --editor

That way you will know for sure the option was given.

Is it possible that you are starting it from the start menu shortcut sometimes, and the desktop shortcut the rest of the time but only have --editor on one of them?
