Saved photoshop document as terrain.png (1025x1025)
replaced the terrain file in the blank track folder
Went into the game - editor
using the raise tool - set strength to 0
covered entire map

however nothing turned up?
Same here, but already putted it into all my mxsimulator maps, tried it everywhere.

Try the smooth tool instead of the raise tool, it seems like that is what normally works for me.

1. Download the latest blank track folder. Search for it here on mxs. Put this in your personal folder.
2. Save your disp map(jumps and what not) as terrain.png
3. Make a copy of the blank track folder, and rename it to the name of your new track. (do not to use spaces or capital letters, you can change what the game calls the track with a different file.)
4. Place the terrain.png in said folder.
5. Open the game with the editor. Select new race or time trial, and pick the track.
6. Select the smooth tool, set it to strength 0, and zoom out (use minus sign to zoom out, plus to zoom in) so the cursor covers the entire map. Click, and the shadows should update.
Let me know if you need more help.

It will say 'Normal' next the the opacity slider. Thats your blending options, where 'Screen' will be
