This one has a separate menu to pick tracks. Also, if you missed the last snapshot thread, there is now flywheel damping that smooths out some oscillations.

Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2008-04-18

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested. (Really Voutare, it's barely tested!)

hey,
has anyone else been having issues with getting the time trial mode to run on smithtown?
it seems to be working perfectly on all the other levels for me, but when i attempt to start one at smithtown, the loading screen freezes at "adding bikes...." and then i get a little popup in vista telling me that mx sim has malfunctioned and has had to shutdown.
any help in the matter is much appreciated.

Yeah, I have the same problem too. I get it to work when I delete laps that have already been recorded, but even then, I start in the corner of the map. Weird....

I'm on XP. And my game just crashes to desktop when trying to do a time trial on Smithtown.

There seems to be a slight clutch issue under Linux, the bike won't move unless you flick the clutch, its just slightly off.

Alright, I'll take your word for it. :D

Smithtown bug has been there for a while.

I think it has to do with timing gates, because usually it places you at the last gate before the takeoff, and I knowticed that there are unused ones on Smithtown which might cause problems.
