Don't make the whoops rutted, they don't get rutted out, they're just sandy. Make them more like rollers with a long face and a steep backside without ruts and really sandy traction.
I'd love to get some local feedback but to be honest I don't really have the time to make a perfect replica out of this one.
My aim for this year is just to make something that rides good and hopefully at least somewhat resembles the real track.
The sand whoops won't be rutted out, the shallow ruts made with erode are mostly there for the visuals and they don't really affect the shape of the whoops.

Still haven't decided. I't possible at the moment but the sand traction really bogs you down on the landing so I'm not sure if it's the fastest line.

If anyone has any pics/vids that show what turn 13 looked like last year please drop me a pm. I could also use a good, full lap helmet cam from last year.

Thats the amatuer layout though. I'm pretty sure it changes for the ama national.

The one a few posts up of nick paluzzi is the best one to use.

Nah, amateur layout is the same as pro layout. The track is really gay either way, to be honest.

Turn 13 is just a flat sweeper. It gets ruts through it just like any other flat turn, a few of them that just kind of go through the corner.

Also, try to make it so the wall jump is insanely difficult and only the top-level riders can do it. Tons of amateur riders try only to bump up the wall and still eat it.
