Well , mxs are in the 1.7 version , and in the future 1.8 and 1.9... finally Mx Simulator 2.0
let's talk a bit about how it should be the Mx Simulator 2.0
example,
-we can choose various types of mufflers on the bikes and each will have its own sound.
-We can do tricks that require the pilot to leave the bike
-When you fall, the pilot went through the bike and back automatically.
-may have terrain deformation.
-the game will be DirectX 11 and not DirectX7.
-High-quality shadows sistems (Shadow 3.0 or more)
Remembering that a theory that was all I did.
But now I wanted to know a little more about you in Mx Simulator fanatics.
How could it be?
Who knows JLV will also participate in this theory of how he sees his game in the future.
The game will slowly progress. I believe all of these thing's will eventually happen (besides DX11 and the (IMO) stupid trick thing), but not for the next few years at least. It's not like JLV has a team of programmers and coders working along with him to get things done. He has a life, and I'm sure he would love to get some stuff checked off his list, but since MXS is made solely by him (apart from the community creating tracks, models, etc.), he has to pick and choose what is most important, and tackle those first.

I believe in you to dude , so jlv are updating this game alone ?
All of what you listed seems kind of unimportant to me, except for terrain deformation (if we could get that to work well), and the graphical side of things..
I sure as hell hope we'll NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get freestyle in this game, but I don't think we will.
You can change the sound of the pipe already by changing the pipeinfo by the way.
"I didn't jump the gate...it musta' flipped back up, after I went over it!?!"
I think another huge aspect that this game lack is a proper handlebar control setup. It's too bad doubledragon seems to have been unable to pull through with his. If only logitech would see the potential market, and make something that would work with all motorcycle games and sims. I envision a set of real mx bars connected to the top of a shaft that leans.
Anyways, terrain deformation (if it could be done it a way that would not significantly increase lag for big races online) and a proper handlebar system are what this game need to go to the next level. I know that the handlebar is separate from MXS 2.0, but I think just as important as anything in the game programing itself.

WORD!
It's more fun for me trying to make a toilet paper roll, or a double backflip just by game physics. Also backflip, frontflip, wheelie, endo, whip and all sorts of variations of these are more than enough to keep me busy when I feel the urge to fool around.
