You didn't say what CPU, but your system might just be too slow for this. Normally lots of stuff is cached for better performance but when the terrain is constantly changing it has to disregard the cached info much of the time. If you're running a low terrain texture detail you might get better speed with software terrain rendering.

hmmm. warriors unadilla would probably turn out sick with a bunch of erode laps. same with southwick

jlv, when are you going to add erode to multiplayer it would be sick and super hard..... :twisted:

Yeah its a little crazy the bumps it produces but with some tender love and care, I think we can get it pretty spot on.... :mrgreen:

Actually, I posted this in the hope that more testers might find better settings than I had. What do you guys think the defaults should be?

Finally got it to work, im not sure what I did wrong before though. Tried the default settings on locust,if it was a sandtrack it would be absolutley sick!

How do you get the shading to work? And how to do you create .bat files? :mrgreen:

I say all the rF championship tracks should be made baby butt smooth, and then let the AI's have at it, and then we race :mrgreen:
