yeah i can agree here. once we get thru this season, having a full arsenal of good (realistic) tracks for practicing upcoming nationals that will have minor changes in them.....definitely a plus.barrington314 wrote:how about this erode that most everyone wants on multiplayer? how are you going to practice a 40 man gate at about lap 10? or every lap being different for that matter. you wont have 4 days to prepare. youll have to adapt right then and there. but, i guess we are along way away from that happening.
but i see where you are coming from. sx can be practiced on any of the old tracks, and learn how fast you need to go for a triple or on off etc.
atleast people can practice the old national tracks and get a feel for the layout in most cases.

I think things are fine, people need to chill out, and if you want to do good, you gotta put in the effort and time. Simple as that. I'm one of those guys who does not get to practice much and I haven't even been making my own races in qualifying...and I still think it's fine. Qualifying is HALF the fun imo. Also, the guys how are fast, are fast right off the bat, I honestly don't think we'd see any change with less practice time, we'd just see less consistency, but it would be the same people in the same positions. It's easy to say, "so and so is just good because they are 15 and play the game all the time blah blah blah" You could say the same about any top pro in the sport today as well. You either want to practice and get better or you don't, simple as that.

only thing I think should be chaged for next year is do the races the thursday after the race instead of the thursday before so the track can be more acurate.

So many people need to run MXS in --editor mode and try to make a track(not the plain, texture and object devoid kind). Maybe then we can have a litte peace and quiet in the "You guys need to..." department. Even if you didn't work, you'd have trouble making a decent track in less than a week. Suggestions are great, but, they need to be grounded in reality.

Definitely not signing me up for making track changes in 24 hours to have a track ready on Monday.TH_722 wrote:only thing I think should be chaged for next year is do the races the thursday after the race instead of the thursday before so the track can be more acurate.

Just rewatched both starts, you got the wrong guy. Make sure you know what you're talking about before calling someone out.Ddavis wrote:Chad why were you like rolling through the first turn? I landed on you!

No it was you, and it was about halfway through the race. I DO have the right guy.warrior462 wrote:Just rewatched both starts, you got the wrong guy. I braked for dont crash on your rear wheel and your lag crashed me.. thats it..warrior462 wrote:Juan, you are hilarious man. In a really sad kind of way. Sorry for so many pictures, but I feel it's necessary.
Here is after the big step up double. I was going inside anytime I could, that was the fast line for me. I go outside to let Juan by, he comes from inside, all the way outside right behind me. then the dropoff halfway down the hill Juan gets squirelly and crashes, and of course blames me (no contact). I know pictures don't tell the whole story, please do watch the demo, from any angle you like. About the 30 minute mark of moto 1.
This is the funny part, Juan's "revenge". What more could I have possibly done to let him by here? but he is only interested in hitting me.

All I can say is, congratulations, you're just plain that much faster than me, and it's a shame you're not smart enough to look a little ahead of you before landing on a slower rider. You could see me, I couldn't see you, deal with it.Ddavis wrote:No it was you, and it was about halfway through the race. dont really have much of an opinion on the subject, but what about just limiting the amount of time for qualifying. everyone could still get the practice in to get the track dialed, and the lower amount of Q time could help keep the one lap wonders out.Sweendoggy wrote:I think things are fine, people need to chill out, and if you want to do good, you gotta put in the effort and time. Even if he does lag, look at how much room he gave Juan. The only other thing he could have possibly done to give juan more room is hill climbing. IMO he did everything he could. Juan just needs to look ahead a bit.
